BIOIDENTICAL HORMONE REPLACEMENT
Women's hormone optimization focuses on restoring balance to hormones like estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone, enhancing energy, mood, and overall well-being.
Do you find it nearly impossible to shed those extra pounds, no matter how well you eat? Has your energy to hit the gym disappeared? Or do you just not “feel right”? If so, you may be experiencing the effects of a female sex hormone imbalance.
You’re not alone. Millions of women face hormone imbalances, which can cause symptoms like mood swings, hot flashes, low libido, decreased energy, and more. These symptoms are often linked to low levels of estrogen, testosterone, or progesterone.
Unfortunately, the traditional medical system tends to focus on “sick” care rather than proactive “health” care. Perhaps your doctor has dismissed your concerns, telling you “it’s just part of getting older,” or maybe you’ve been scared away from hormone replacement therapy (HRT) by myths that claim it causes heart disease, strokes, or cancer.
The good news? These myths are not supported by current research, and safe, effective treatments are available to help you feel like yourself again. Take the first step toward reclaiming your energy, confidence, and well-being.
What is bioidentical hormone replacement therapy?
Hormone replacement therapy is a medical treatment in which hormones are prescribed to compensate for below-average levels. Essentially, HRT works by giving the body a regulated series of hormone supplements that the body is either no longer producing or inadequately producing.
Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) is a natural approach designed for individuals dealing with hormonal imbalances. This therapy is tailored for women experiencing hormone fluctuations, frequently employed to alleviate symptoms linked to peri-menopause, menopause, natural decline in hormones due to age, and low testosterone levels. BHRT offers various administration options, allowing bioidentical hormones to be delivered through methods such as pellets, creams, injections, patches, pills, and gels.
Am I a good candidate for hormone replacement?
Symptoms associated with a need for hormone replacement: loss of energy/fatigue, decreased concentration, difficulty sleeping/insomnia, anxiety/depression/irritability, weight gain/inability to lose fat despite exercise, decreased sex drive/libido, vaginal dryness, poor exercise tolerance/longer recovery periods after exercise, loss of memory/forgetfulness, loss of muscle tone/inability to gain muscle despite exercise, perimenopausal/menopausal symptoms, hot flashes/night sweats, body aches
If you're struggling with the symptoms listed above, you could be a candidate for hormone optimization. This therapy is often recommended for individuals experiencing hormonal imbalances as they age.
Your provider will advise on the most suitable form of BHRT treatment tailored to your body and lifestyle. Following the administration of treatment, regular monitoring and analysis of your hormone levels ensure that you derive maximum benefit. Through laboratory testing, our providers can safely monitor your hormonal levels. The goal is the least amount of the hormone that makes your symptoms improve without causing any side effects.
