Enhance your vitality, increase your energy, and support your overall wellness.

Testosterone is the key male sex hormone, essential for maintaining various aspects of men’s health. It influences bone density, fat distribution, muscle strength, and sex drive.

Low testosterone levels can result in symptoms like fatigue, depression, reduced libido, weight gain, and loss of muscle mass. Maintaining optimal testosterone levels is vital for overall health and reducing the risk of certain chronic conditions. At Renewed Therapeutics, we offer testosterone replacement therapy to help you achieve and maintain healthy testosterone levels.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is testosterone replacement therapy (TRT)?  Testosterone replacement therapy is a medical treatment that restores testosterone levels when your body no longer produces sufficient amounts. By boosting testosterone, this therapy can help enhance energy, improve mood, support sexual health, and provide other potential benefits.

Our Approach to TRT: At Renewed Therapeutics, our skilled and experienced medical professionals are committed to providing personalized testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) tailored to your unique needs. We prioritize your overall health and well-being, recognizing that every patient requires a care plan as unique as they are.

Using advanced testing and monitoring methods, we ensure your therapy is both safe and effective. Unlike many online "Low T" clinics, we offer more than just one solution. Whether you prefer testosterone injections, creams, or pellets, our comprehensive approach ensures you receive the TRT option that’s right for you.

At Renewed Therapeutics, your health and well-being are always our top priority. Let us guide you on the path to feeling your best.

Am I a good candidate for hormone replacement?

Symptoms associated with a need for hormone replacement: loss of energy/fatigue, decreased concentration, difficulty sleeping/insomnia, anxiety/depression/irritability, weight gain/inability to lose fat despite exercise, decreased sex drive/libido, poor exercise tolerance/longer recovery periods after exercise, loss of memory/forgetfulness, loss of muscle tone/inability to gain muscle despite exercise, loss or infrequent morning erections, erectile dysfunction, body aches, loss of motivation/drive to get things done.

If you're struggling with the symptoms listed above, you could be a candidate for testosterone optimization. This therapy is often recommended for individuals experiencing a decline as they age.

Your provider will advise on the most suitable form of treatment tailored to your body and lifestyle. Following the administration of treatment, regular monitoring and analysis of your hormone levels ensure that you derive maximum benefit. Through laboratory testing, our providers can safely monitor your hormonal levels. The goal is symptom improvement without causing any side effects.

My total testosterone levels are “normal.” What does this mean?

The reference range for total testosterone is 250–827 ng/dl. If your blood test falls within this range, most doctors will label your levels as “normal.” However, there are significant issues with this approach:

  1. Normal Isn’t Optimal
You’re not just aiming for "normal" testosterone levels—you’re striving for optimal levels that support your energy, mood, and overall well-being.

  2. The Range Is Too Broad
The wide “normal” range raises questions about its relevance to optimal health. For example, a man with a total testosterone level of 800 ng/dl typically feels much better than one at 500 ng/dl, who, in turn, feels better than someone at 300 ng/dl. Yet all three would be considered "normal."

  3. Trends Matter
A single testosterone reading doesn’t account for trends or your previous levels. Even if your current level falls within the “normal” range, it might be significantly lower than what you had in your younger years, which can lead to noticeable symptoms.

  4. Free Testosterone Is Overlooked
The focus on total testosterone ignores the more critical free testosterone levels, which are often a better indicator of how well your body can use the hormone.

Optimizing your testosterone levels goes beyond simply being in the "normal" range—it’s about achieving the balance that makes you feel your best.

What are the benefits from optimizing or restoring testosterone?

Each man’s response to testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is unique. While some notice improvements right away, others may take several weeks or even months to experience the benefits, and a few may not notice significant changes. However, most men report experiencing some or all of the following positive effects:

  • Increased energy levels throughout the day

  • Reduced irritability and mood swings

  • Improved sleep quality

  • A happier, more balanced mood

  • Enhanced performance and recovery during workouts

  • Boosted libido and sexual desire

  • Stronger, more frequent erections

  • Easier and more comfortable urination

  • Increased muscle mass and a reduction in body fat percentage

TRT is about finding the right balance for your body, helping you feel your best over time.

I am interested in an oral route, does this exist?

Enclomiphene, an oral tablet, provides a safe and effective solution for men looking to boost their testosterone levels. It works by blocking the effects of estrogen on the brain's hypothalamus and pituitary gland, allowing the body to naturally increase testosterone production.

Enclomiphene - Pricing for Enclomiphene monthly $150

Enclomiphene works by blocking estrogen’s influence, prompting the brain to signal the testicles to naturally produce more testosterone. Unlike treatments that introduce exogenous testosterone into the body, this approach is safe and can be associated with fewer side effects then other forms of TRT. By stimulating the body’s natural testosterone production, enclomiphene offers an effective and beneficial solution for men looking to restore healthy testosterone levels without the monitoring that is required for other forms of TRT.  Most men see their free and total testosterone levels double from enclomiphene use.

What Are Some Potential Side Effects of TRT?

While testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) can offer significant benefits, it may also come with potential side effects, including:

  • Testicular changes: shrinkage, discomfort, or retraction

  • Fertility issues: a potential reduction in the ability to father children. We recommend men to have completed family planning prior to initiation of TRT.

  • Fluid retention: can lead to weight gain (5–10 pounds of water weight)

  • Skin changes: oily skin or acne

  • Hair loss: Typically on the scalp

  • Sleep apnea: potential worsening of pre-existing conditions

  • Red blood cell increase: which can raise the risk of clotting

  • Blood pressure elevation: we routinely check blood pressure and have you monitor for this

  • Facial or chest flushing: redness or a warm sensation

It’s important to discuss these potential risks with your provider and undergo regular monitoring to ensure your therapy is safe and effective.
